Reasons We Can Get Stuck

12-4-22    Micah Walker

  1. We have not _______________________________ us.

Judge not and you shall not be judged, condemn not and you shall not be condemned, forgive and you shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will forgive you, But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father in Heaven forgive you.    Matthew:14-15

  1. We are not ____________________ our responsibility.

Examine me, O God, and know my mind; test me…and discover if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.   Psalm 139:23-24

  1. We are afraid of _______________________________.

So do not fear, for I am with you; and do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will hold you up with my righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41:10

  1. We have not _________________________________ to the Lord.

Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to the Lord, this is your true and proper worship.

Romans 12:1

  1. We have not accepted __________________________ _________________ forgiveness.

But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.   Romans 5:8

  1. We have not ______________________ support team.

Therefore, confess your sins (struggles) to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. James 5:16

  1. We don’t know/understand our __________________ and who He says we are.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.  1 Peter 2:9

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.  Romans 8:1

Daily Plan for Serenity

  1. Take a daily inventory of your actions and reactions and when you are wrong promptly admit it. This will help you keep your conscience clear.

  2. Study God’s word daily, asking Him to guide you and help you apply His teaching and will in your life.

  3. Take time daily to reflect and thank God for every change He is making in your life, no matter how small.

  4. When you do feel stuck, reach out to someone you trust and share it with them.

Getting it out of your head helps to release satan’s stronghold.
