IS PEACE EVEN POSSIBLE IN 2020? MISSING PEACE?

On that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song: Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation.  Open the gates to all who are righteous; allow the faithful to enter.  You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! 4Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.   Isaiah 26:1-4 NLT

Peace isn’t found in the absence of problems. 

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.   And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.                Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

True peace is found in the presence of God.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”     John 14:27 NIV

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."    Romans 15:13

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."  Colossians 3:15

The battle for peace always begins in our minds.
