THREE TRUTHS FOR EVERY HESITANT WARRIOR
Every warrior must fight their inner fear of failure.
Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!” 15“But Lord,” Gideon replied, “how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!” Judges 6:14-15 NLT
- Many women want to know: Do you cherish and value me today?
- Many men want to know: Do you respect, admire and believe in me today?
- In Christ, you have everything you need to fight and win.
The Lord turned to him [Gideon] and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?” Judges 6:14 NIV
The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength.” Judges 7:2 NLT
With God, the way forward often starts with a step backward.
While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled. Judges 7:21 NIV
- Every warrior’s greatest fear is failure.
- Every warrior’s greatest pain is regret.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13 NIV
